This is a picture of a Franklin G Runabout (car).  This early 1900 model car was a popular seller in its day; many people owned them.  This car cost around $650,  which was a big amount of money back then.

Other cars were also made, including the Kunz Gasoline Runabout, the Merke car, and the Badger car.  The Johnson Service Company built limousines that cost $4500.  Not many people owned them!
